Theme
A sculpture that joins the desire for exploration with the themes of reproduction and the duality of masculine and feminine.
“Verso Marte” (Towards Mars) is a steel sculpture (H220 x 70 cm, 2021), currently on display at the Paolo Fusi Gallery. It stands out for its verticality and upward movement, suggesting a trajectory pointing towards the red planet, a symbol of curiosity and exploration.
Alongside the conquest of space, the sculpture holds a deeper meaning: the journey to Mars becomes a metaphor for the human desire for reproduction and evolution. The part representing propulsion symbolises the masculine, while Mars, in its form and position, recalls the feminine.
