Theme
A sculpture expressing strength, energy and presence through the living material of corten steel.
“Potenza” (Power) is a sculpture made in 2009 in corten steel, 168 cm high and 70 cm wide, now in a private collection in Pisa. It stands out for its decisive lines and solid structure, evoking restrained energy and strength in balance.
The oxidised surface of the corten, with its warm, shifting tones, underlines the bond between matter and transformation, creating a sculptural presence that converses with space and light.
“Potenza” represents the ability to assert oneself and endure over time, embodying the tension between stability and change that marks our era.
