Serie Unisex – Incontro di materiali

This sculpture from the Unisex series grows out of the dialogue and contrast between two symbolic materials: iron, associated with the male figure, and stainless steel, chosen to represent woman, now perceived as even more “stainless” and resilient.
The work stages the meeting and clash of these two energies, reflecting on roles, on transformations and on new forms of balance between masculine and feminine in contemporary society.
True to the theme of the Unisex series, the sculpture speaks of the fluidity of identity and of the richness that comes from bringing differences together, both materially and symbolically.
