A corten sculpture depicting a gesture of momentum and opening, “Liberazione” turns matter into a symbol of emancipation and rebirth, in dialogue with the surrounding nature.

Description

“Liberazione” (Liberation) is a corten sculpture made in 2014 and installed at Villa i Barronci, San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Florence. It stands out for the expressive force of its lines and the working of the corten, whose oxidation brings out the warm, textured shades of the metal.

The sculpture depicts a movement of opening, almost a flight, evoking rebirth and personal emancipation. The sculptural gesture converses with the Tuscan landscape, becoming a sign of freedom and transformation.

“Liberazione” invites the viewer to reflect on the ability to overcome constraints and embrace new possibilities, joining the solidity of matter with the lightness of the message.
Suited to open spaces and gardens, the work bears witness to the search for balance between nature, art and spirit.
