A tactile piece in oxidation on galvanised sheet with an iron frame, “Nascosto” invites us to discover what lies beneath the surface, between light, shadow and the marks of time.
“Nascosto” (Hidden) is a piece made in 2019 at the Paolo Fusi Lab, in oxidation on galvanised sheet with an iron frame, measuring 70×62 cm. It stands out for its textured surface, where controlled oxidation generates shades, marks and transparencies that suggest something concealed, waiting to be discovered beyond the first impression.
The contrast between galvanised sheet and iron frame emphasises the dialogue between protection and vulnerability, between what appears and what stays hidden. “Nascosto” invites the viewer to linger on detail, to follow curiosity and the urge to look beyond the surface, turning matter into a quiet, poetic story.
A work suited to contemporary interiors and spaces that value research into materials, memory and a sense of mystery.
