Serie Unisex n.1

“Serie Unisex” is a piece made in 2018 at the Paolo Fusi Lab, in silicone shaped on a corten tray, measuring 94×94 cm. It stands out for its combination of industrial and organic materials: the silicone surface, worked in relief, converses with the oxidised corten, creating a visual and tactile contrast that invites close viewing.

Through its title and abstract composition, “Serie Unisex” reflects on the fluidity of identity, the plurality of genders and the possibility of moving beyond traditional boundaries between masculine and feminine. The result is a work that turns matter into a universal message, inviting viewers to question their own sense of belonging and the richness of diversity.
