“Mare su corten” is a tactile piece in oxidised corten, measuring 150×100 cm. It stands out for the expressive force of its surface, where the working and oxidation of the metal create shades and reflections that recall the waves, the depth and the changeability of the sea.
By working the material by hand, Paolo Fusi turns corten into a visual story that suggests journeys, memories and deep connections with nature. Warm tones and irregular textures invite the viewer to lose themselves in an abstract landscape, where industrial material becomes emotion and poetry.
“Mare su corten” is suited to contemporary interiors and spaces that value research into materials, the memory of place and the dialogue between art and nature.
