Technique/Material

Florence Cathedral takes shape through a weave of holes and silicone drips, between matter and light.

This version of the Serie Firenze devoted to the Duomo is made on a perforated sheet: silicone emerges from every hole, composing the cathedral’s iconic outline. The technique creates an effect of depth and transparency, where light passes through the material and the mark becomes three-dimensional.

The work tells of the bond between tradition and experimentation, turning the symbol of Florence into a contemporary, tactile vision. The perforated surface and silicone drips evoke the vitality and complexity of the city, making every detail unique and unrepeatable.
