Un Passaggio per l’Universo – Centro d’Arte La Loggia

In the inner garden of the Centro d’Arte La Loggia (Fattoria La Loggia, San Casciano Val di Pesa) there is a stop. No buses or trains pass through: it is a symbolic, imaginary stop, where six characters wait for a ride to the universe.

The figures, pared down to the essentials in round aluminium profiles, lean towards the sky, like someone scanning the horizon, waiting for something to appear. We do not know what vehicle will take them to their destination, or when. We only know they are ready to leave.

That waiting holds the human condition: always balanced between borders and limits, yet driven by the desire to go further, to explore, to question the mysteries of the cosmos. The stop thus becomes a place suspended between earth and space, between individual search and collective dream.

La Loggia is the first waiting station of the project Un Passaggio per l’Universo, which the Centro d’Arte has supported from the very beginning.
