“Serie Firenze, Toys” reinterprets the city’s monumental skyline by slipping suggestive erotic toys in among its best-known landmarks. Silicone shaped on aluminium creates a vibrant surface, where the classicism of the monuments plays ironically against the contemporary language of desire and innuendo.

The work portrays the two faces of Florence: on one side history, culture and spirituality; on the other vitality, irony and transgression. An invitation to see the city with fresh eyes, without taking oneself too seriously, yet always staying authentic.
