Paolo Fusi on Metodo Contemporaneo
28 September 2026

Being included in the artist collection of Metodo Contemporaneo is an important recognition for me, one that values my path of research between matter, form and meaning. My works are currently hosted by the Centro d’Arte La Loggia in San Casciano, a place of exchange and dialogue between artists and the public.
Metodo Contemporaneo is a project by the University of Verona that has created a platform dedicated to a register of artists and their works. The initiative is part of a scientific study on the wine-growing landscape, involving artists from all over the world to enhance and interpret the territory through art.
The works on show
- Iron and Fire: a sculpture celebrating the transformation of matter. A corten column, marked by tears, recalls the primordial force of the elements and takes on spiritual meaning.
- Un Passaggio per l’Universo: six stylised figures in metal alloy, set in the garden of the Centro d’Arte La Loggia and turned towards the sky. A work reflecting on the human condition, on limits and on waiting.
- Farfalle al Vento (Butterflies in the Wind): here strength and lightness meet. Steel takes on a dynamic, sinuous form, becoming a metaphor for freedom and movement.
A dialogue between matter and thought
These works are the result of a process that combines experimentation, work by hand and reflection on current and social themes. Each piece comes from the wish to explore the boundaries of materials – from metal to wood, from silicone to steel – and to convey emotion through form.
Thanks
I thank Metodo Contemporaneo for including me in this collection and the Centro d’Arte La Loggia for hosting my works. I invite everyone to visit the exhibition and be inspired by the dialogue between art, territory and the present day.
